While you are planning your trip to attend the Latin American Bloggers Conference, add in a few extra days - Why?, well there really are so many things to do and see.
One really fun event is the Feria Yucatán Xmatkuil 2010 which will be taking place November 12 through December 5. Read more about the feria here,
or here.
Public transport from Centro (Calle 69 entre 58 y 60) will make the trip quick and easy, and pretty darn cheap at 6pesos each way.
Entry was 12pesos in 2009 (if I remember correctly...)

Is that the Yucatan State Fair about which I have read multiple blog posts?
I think I would love to go to that. We'll be in town through the morning of the 19th
Yes indeed Ron, this is the State Fair.
As it gets closer to November keep your eye on YucatanToday.com for listings of performers.
There are typically some pretty good evening performers.
Debi
I second Debi's suggestion. We go every year at least once, sometimes twice.

Theresa
Thanks Debi and Theresa!
I imagine we'll have to go then - most likely a day visit at first.
How do I sign up to come for the third annual.....? I think that Ned and I will be there and I will definitely want to go to the fair...with the camera.
Billie, I have added you to the list. See you there! We will mail out updates as we have them.
regards,
Theresa

Ron, It worked. I went and read your blog. LOL
I'll look forward to seeing you at the blogger fest.
Billie,
It will be nice to meet you!!
All of you other yous too.
Some of us will be there before and after the blogger meet.
I think we need some way to plan some group events, like going to the fair.
Maybe an email list of attendees and locals would work for planning purposes
